Update 8/19/22:
Brush collection in Zone 4 was completed on Thursday, 8/18. Crews will begin collections in Zone 2 on Monday, 8/22. Brush must be placed curbside by Monday morning to ensure your brush is collected. We ask that brush be placed at the street away from any obstacles including mailboxes, trees, utility poles, utility boxes, or overhead wires. Brush placed in such locations may not be collected.
Residents who have brush in Zones that have already been completed or residents who cannot wait for a scheduled collection may bring their brush to the DPW yard located on Commonwealth Drive during regular business hours. Annual Summer/fall Brush Collection To Commence August 8th
The Summer/Fall schedule is as follows:
Zone 4: Week of August 8
Zone 2: Week of August 22
Zone 1: Week of September 5
Zone 3: Week of September 19
Zone 15 Week of October 3
Brush shall include the pruning of trees, shrubs, bushes or vines, but exclude grass clippings, flowers, weeds, tree trunks, stumps, and leaves. If the excluded items are mixed with the brush, the material will not be collected. All brush must be piled neatly at the edge of the property and cannot be placed in any roadway or sidewalk. Brush should not exceed 4-6 feet in length, and should not be any larger than 12 inches in diameter. As a reminder for those residents who utilize a private contractor, the contractor is responsible for the removal of the brush from the property.
