Solid Waste Collection Notice

NOTICE TO BIDDERS SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDFORD

Public notice is hereby given by the Township of Medford that sealed bids will be received by the Township Clerk at the Township of Medford Municipal Building, 49 Union Street, Medford, NJ 08055 for the COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL of SOLID WASTE for the Township of Medford. Specifications and proposal forms may be obtained from the Township of Medford Clerk's Office on or after Thursday, October 5th 2023, during the hours of 8:30 A.M. through 4:00 P.M. or by visiting the Township website at www.medfordtownship.com.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder clearly identified on the outside of the envelope, together with the notation "SEALED BID FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL". Said bids will be received by the Township Clerk until 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 5th 2023, at the Township of Medford Municipal Building, 49 Union Street, Medford, NJ 08055 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.

All bids must be accompanied by a either a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond, issued by a surety licensed or authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, payable to the Township of Medford, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, as well as a Consent of Surety binding the surety to furnish performance and payment bonds as required in the Instructions to Bidders, together with all documents required in the bid package. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975 C. 127 (Affirmative Action). In compliance with PI. 1977, C.33 the Bid must state whether or not and shareholders hold more than ten percent (10%) interest in the bidding corporation or partnership, and if so, must state such shareholder's or partner's name and addresses. No bid may be withdrawn without the consent of the Township of Medford for a period of sixty (60) days after the time for opening of bids has passed.

The Township of Medford reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law.

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the New Jersey Public Contracts Law, New Jersey Local Unit Pay to Play Law, and Local Ordinances, request for proposals will be received by the Municipal Clerk’s Office of the Township of Medford, Burlington County, New Jersey.  Proposals must be made in the manner designated in the specifications.

The Township of Medford is seeking request for proposals for professional services for the following positions:

The Repair and Maintenance of Public Safety Vehicles

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Township Clerk of the Township of Medford, New Jersey for the Repair and Maintenance of Public Safety Vehicles on or before 10:00 A.M. prevailing time on October 11, 2023, and publicly opened and read aloud in the office of the Township Clerk of the Township of Medford at 49 Union Street, Medford, New Jersey. Specifications and contract documents may be obtained from the Township of Medford, Office of the Township Clerk, 49 Union Street Medford, New Jersey between 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday-Friday or on the Township website at www.medfordtownship.com. Submissions must be on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the contract description on the outside, addressed to the Municipal Clerk of the Township of Medford. Bidders are to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127. (N.J.A.C. 17:27).

All bids shall be submitted only at the hours, date and place indicated above for receiving sealed bids. The Township will reject submissions for this Contract where vendors are not properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the specifications. The right is also reserved to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Township of Medford. The Township shall have sixty (60) days within which to accept or reject bids. Submitted bidders shall be required to keep their bids open for that period of time and agree that they will not withdraw or reverse their prices therein.
