Reporting a Vehicle Accident

New Jersey State Law requires all accidents incurring over $500.00 damage and/or personal injury to be reported immediately to the police.

Fingerprinting of Children For Identification

Parents may bring their children to the Police Department for fingerprinting identification at any time.

House Identification

Large, bright house numbers allow quick identification of your location in an emergency.

Gun Permits

The State of New Jersey requires citizens to complete an application and be fingerprinted for identification and classification to purchase a firearm, gun or rifle. Completed Firearm submissions accepted Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Recreational Vehicles

Recreational Vehicles defined as motorcycles, 3-wheel or 4-wheel all-terrain vehicles, pick-up trucks or the like can only be operated on private property with written permission. The operator must have this written permission with him/her at all times.

Alarm Registration

Alarm Registration allows police officers to have valuable information in times of emergency. Applications can be obtained from and submitted to the Police Records Office and is mandated by township ordinance.

Traffic Enforcement & Signs

Concerns about speed limits, malfunctioning traffic signals or missing, damaged or obscured signs should be reported to the Police Traffic Office.

Per NJ State Law, all children under 17 years of age operating a two-wheel bicycle are REQUIRED TO WEAR AN APPROVED BICYCLE HELMET!
