Last night’s Council meeting was marked by a thoughtful and robust conversation surrounding redevelopment and our path forward on affordable housing.
I want to sincerely thank the members of our community who took the time to attend, to speak, and to engage. Your questions were meaningful, your perspectives were valuable, and your presence made the discussion stronger.
This is not an easy issue. It is complex, it is consequential, and it requires us to balance legal obligations with the character and future of our town. But what was clear last night is this: Medford shows up, and Medford works together.
I am equally proud of our Township professionals and my fellow Council members, who approached the evening with a commitment to listen, to understand, and to collaborate. That is how progress is made.
Affordable housing is not just a requirement we must meet. It is a responsibility we must approach thoughtfully, transparently, and together.
As we continue working through today’s challenges and planning for what lies ahead, I respectfully ask for your continued engagement. Your voice matters, your input shapes our decisions, and your involvement strengthens this community.
That is how we move forward. Together.
Thank you for being part of the process. Thank you for working with us. And thank you for continuing to care so deeply about our community.
