Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Site

The Medford Township Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Site, located at the Township Garage at 2 Commonwealth Drive off of Gravelly Hollow Road, is available to all Medford Township residents as per the hours posted on the Dept. of Neighborhood Services home page. Materials from businesses and other commercial entities will NOT be accepted.

***Propane Tanks - will not be accepted.

These household hazardous waste materials are acceptable:

  • Latex Paint
  • Antifreeze
  • Oil Base Paint
  • All Batteries
  • Solvents
  • Aerosol Cans
  • Fluorescent Lights
  • Driveway Sealers
  • Fluorescent Ballasts
  • Used Motor Oil

*****The above are the only hazardous materials permitted for disposal at this Township facility. All other materials must be taken to the Burlington County Household Hazardous Waste collection site in Columbus, New Jersey. You may call them at (609) 499-5200 to schedule an appointment.***** Burlington County

Residents will be requested to provide proof of Township residency in addition to completing a form with their name, address, signature and type of waste, confirming that it was generated by a household.

Once the form is completed the material can be removed from your vehicle and will be immediately placed in the containment storage area. The material and form will be transported by Medford Township to the Burlington County Household Hazardous Waste site.
