NOTICE TO MEDFORD RESIDENTS: HELICOPTER OPERATIONSMedford Township has been notified that HLH Aviation will be conducting low-level helicopter operations in support of the PSE&G 5038 Transmission Line Project.
The project involves work along the 500 kV transmission line corridor extending from East Windsor to Southampton Township. Helicopter operations will take place intermittently between November 2, 2026, and January 31, 2027, and may be visible or audible in the Medford area.
What residents should know:
Flights may begin as early as 6:30 AM and will conclude before sunset.
Operations are weather- and project-dependent.
The specific dates and days helicopters will be in Medford are not yet available.
Three helicopters will be used for the project: two MD 500s and one UH-1H.
The early start times are necessary due to the project’s limited outage window and daylight operating requirements.
