SOUTHERN REGIONAL TRAILS PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSIONS

The Burlington County Board of Commissioners received a Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Transportation and Community Development Initiative (DVRPC, TCDI) grant to study the feasibility of constructing a roughly 50-mile regional trail connecting through portions of Maple Shade, Moorestown, Mount Laurel, Evesham, Medford, Shamong, Southampton and Tabernacle Townships, linking municipally owned open space, local schools, and more to Burlington County’s east-west Rancocas Creek Greenway.,  The County Board of Commissioners awarded a contract to Taylor Design Group (TDG) to investigate potential routes, including County and local rights-of-way, County and Township owned properties, etc.  TDG has performed field work and identified opportunities and constraints.  Burlington County has scheduled two (2) public information sessions to discuss our initial findings to get the public’s feedback.  The meetings will be held as follows:
