5/22/2020 - MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCES & HOLIDAY OPERATIONAL SCHEDULES
Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day, and all Township administrative offices and the DPW Yard will be closed.

While the COVID19 restrictions have prevented the Township from observing Memorial Day and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifices with our annual parade and ceremony, the Township has placed wreaths at all of the Veterans monuments and cemeteries. Volunteers from Union Fire Company and Medford Fire have placed flags on the graves of all veterans.

Council members and a small contingent from VFW Post 7677 plan to incorporate two brief memorial services at the South Main Street and Freedom Park memorial areas, and pay respects during their traditional schedule of cemetery visitations on Saturday morning without attracting crowds. We ask that citizens permit Post 7677 to observe this solemn holiday on your behalf since we cannot gather together as a community this year.

Please pause a few moments on Monday to honor those military members and their families who have sacrificed so much in service to our nation.

Other Township services affected by Memorial Day include the following:

Trash collection will be collected one day later than usual.
Regular trash will be collected as follows:
Monday's route will be collected Tuesday
Tuesday's route will be collected Wednesday
Wednesday's route will be collected Thursday

Recycling will be picked up on Wednesday, May 27th.
