3/26/2019 - ENERGY ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE - 4/2/19

New Jersey SHARES ( www.njshares.org ) is offering energy assistance throughout the State of NJ and operates in all 21 counties.

They currently have funding in Burlington for Atlantic City Electric and South Jersey Gas customers and along with the two utility companies, and will be offering an "Energy Assistance Day" in Medford on April 2nd at the Union Fire Company building located at 1 Firehouse Lane (off Route 70 and North Main Street)

ACE Helping Hands is a $200 grant for the Electric Bills.  It is a one page application that is done onsite at the event.  Individuals and families that make up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Line (FPL) are eligible.    See guidelines below.  This is a great opportunity for residents to take advantage of this grant money before it runs out.  I addition to the two utilities, the local LIHEAP office will attend for those that are of lower income, as more monies are available to them through the state.
