The Impact of Technology on Anxiety, Violence, Substance Abuse & Suicide
Today’s technology provides unparalleled access to information, resources, and opportunities. However, is it out of control? This workshop will explore how today’s technology is contributing to learning difficulties, attention issues, health, social consequences, and alcohol and drug abuse and other behavioral issues. Information will be provided to increase family interactions and describe steps that professionals and parents can take to reduce the impact of technology overuse, abuse, and addictions.
