2/13/2017 - Temporary Road Closure - Hawkins Road between Skeet Road and Indian Mills Road
Hawkins Road will be closed to through traffic between Skeet Road and Indian Mills Road on or about Thursday, February 16, 2017 after 1:00 PM. It is anticipated that the roadway will be reopened on or about Friday, February 24, 2017 weather dependent. Repairs need to be made to the single-span timber bridge (County Bridge #D5.58) on Hawkins Road, located about 1 mile from Skeet Road and 1.5 miles from Independence Way (please see attached location map). Repairs will be completed by the Department of Public Works - Roads and Bridges.
A detour will be posted by the County utilizing Indian Mills Road to Route 206 to Route 70 to Skeet Road.
