Members of Council, Dr. Del Rossi and members of the School Board have had discussions that Council believes are likely to result in an agreement to address the concerns of those members of Council who were in favor of moving the School Board elections from November to April. As a result, Council is postponing the special meeting that had been scheduled for Wednesday, June 1st to allow for additional time to work out an agreement. We anticipate that if an agreement is reached, Council will not adopt a resolution moving the School Board elections.
