9/18/24: Burlington County contacted Twp. officials earlier today in reference to Bridge #C6.25. The bridge is located in Medford Township on Sawmill Road just south of Bortons Road; and crosses Kettle Run.
The County previously declared an emergency and announced their intention to close bridge C6.25 – Sawmill Road for approximately 2 months barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Materials have been received and a start date has been determined: Sawmill Road will be closed to all thru traffic to facilitate the emergency replacement of the bridge the morning of Monday, September 23rd. The bridge is located approximately 300 feet south of Bortons Road.
The detour route signage will be installed by the end of this week and local traffic will need to follow detours to access their properties as they will be unable to cross the bridge. Click HERE for the detour map.
